Duane was the special guest on Ken Bruce's daily BBC Radio 2 show from Monday 28 June through to Friday 2 July on his "Tracks Of My Years" slot. Duane selected two of his favourite records on each of the five days.

Hallmark records (a budget label typically retailing at £2.99) in UK issued "Especially for You" on 12 July as a companion to "Have Twangy Guitar Will Travel" which was issued in May

These releases are available in UK only and contain no liner notes and offer minimal information. Both contain the original line up of tracks (12 each) in mono - be wary of "Especially For You" CD as source and speed are dubious.

PLEASE NOTE

Several companies are now issuing material that is out of copyright in the UK, Duane's releases prior to 1960 fall into this category so there are a flood of compilations with tracks from Duane. We will not be listing them here other than exceptional releases.

Geoff Barker's interview with Duane was broadcast on Saturday 19 June between 18:25 and 19:00 on all BBC radio stations in the West & SouthWest of England. Listen to an edited version in the members area. Duane refers to his forthcoming visit to the UK, the possibility of TV, a tour and a TV promoted "Greatest Hits" package. Geoff played "Peter Gunn", "Yep!", "Pipeline" and "Rockabilly Holiday"(not included in edited version).
